By Your Side Counseling Services, LLC's Anniversary Fundraiser for a Cause

In honor of our first anniversary of opening our practice, By Your Side Counseling Services, LLC wanted to do something impactful for our community. We realize the importance of the services provided by Heartly House, and want to take action to be an ally in the mission of the Heartly House of helping to promote and encourage healing for those who need it. As stated in their mission and information when it comes to how the community can help:
"Heartly House is the only organization in Frederick County, Maryland that provides a continuum of comprehensive services free of charge to victims and survivors. Your donation will support our work to end domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse, and will provide victims with safety, shelter, and supportive services to encourage healing. Heartly House plays a vital role in strengthening the overall health and wellbeing of our community’s institutions and promoting the necessity of building a dedicated network unifying individuals, businesses, and organizations alike against power-based violence. When Heartly House thrives, Frederick County thrives."

By Your Side Counseling Services, LLC opened to clients in March of 2023. The co-owners, April and Ashley, have been therapists and providing mental health services to the community for almost a decade before deciding to create their own practice. Both women are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they work with while also advocating for the importance of ending stigma around therapy and other mental health services, as well as promoting and encouraging a positive view on mental health awareness.
