Walk a Mile in Their Shoes is an annual event that aims to raise awareness about Heartly House's work in the community and the clients we serve. The walk initially focused on raising awareness about domestic violence against women but has since broadened its scope to include power-based violence against all people. This event will take place at 10 am on Saturday, October 19 at the Bandshell in Baker Park. There will be stories of hope, opportunities to meet community partners, a walk through Baker Park, and the presentation of the Hoffmann Cup awards for outstanding fundraisers.

Thanks to generous sponsors like you, registration is FREE for all walkers.

2. Invite others: We encourage everyone to register and to bring friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers -- anyone else who might be interested in waking with you (make sure they register, too)!

3. Start a fundraiser: Together we can make a greater impact on our community together than any one of us could achieve alone. If you would like to further support Heartly House’s work to end power-based violence and provide shelter, safety, and support services to all survivors, you can consider starting an individual fundraiser, a fundraising team, or a business fundraiser.
